Our Team
Originally founded in a Boston College dorm room, the fund was born from a shared passion for financial markets and belief in the need for more transparent investing. Gordon Gehan and Michael Kurk comprise Twenty-Five Capital’s two-person Investment Committee, which facilitates efficient decision making and a flexible investment approach.

Gordon Gehan
Founder, CEO, Chief Investment Officer
Gordon founded Twenty-Five Capital as a senior at Boston College, where he earned a B.Sc. with a concentration in Finance from the Carroll School of Management. He was a four-year varsity athlete with the school’s division-one basketball team and its two-time co-captain.
Prior to founding TFC, Gordon worked as an analyst for Crow Holdings, in the Capital Management division, and for Yost Capital Management. He traded securities privately as well, which culminated with an investment in a biotech start-up that ultimately yielded the seed capital for his new venture.
At TFC, Gordon chairs the Investment Committee and is responsible for day-to-day operations. He enjoys having his hands on all areas of business processes and investment strategies. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Gordon now lives in Manhattan, where he enjoys the ever-evolving food scene and attending Knicks games — especially when they win!

Michael Kurk
Partner, Head of Research
Michael was the first employee to join Twenty-Five Capital, accelerating its transformation from a promising idea into an established portfolio. Like Gordon, he attended Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, earning his B.Sc. with a concentration in Finance and a Minor in Philosophy. During his studies, Michael’s passion for financial markets and aptitude for critical thinking came together. He provides Gordon with actionable research, market insights, and investment proposals.
Michael drives the firm’s research efforts and has developed innovative valuation models that analyze potential investments. Before joining TFC, he spent several years working as an underwriting analyst for CarelonRx, a large pharmacy-benefit manager. In that role, Michael sharpened his skills in data analytics, financial modeling, and leading teams to reach a common goal.
Michael continues to live in his home state, Connecticut, and the picturesque town of North Haven. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and playing the guitar.
